Laura Blodgett, Partner
Laura’s extensive tax, accounting and business experience was gained primarily in service organizations. Laura excels at problem solving and troubleshooting, as well as advising management teams in developing and implementing business plans and managing back office operations. Her professional experience includes roles as Financial Controller, Treasurer and Consultant to public, private and non-profit organizations. Industries served include investment management, telecommunications and financial services among others. Early in her career, Laura worked as a Senior Tax Consultant at Deloitte.
Laura is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a BBA in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
Buck Gentry, Partner
Buck has experience running and selling a successful enterprise, providing him with deep exposure to the demands of the business life cycle.
He was most recently Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer for InfoSystems, Inc, a rapid growth IT services firm where he managed the human resource and infrastructure necessary to support better than 3000% growth over 14 years.
Buck has also served as Chief Financial Officer for several medical facilities among other roles, after starting his career with KPMG. Buck is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive), member of the AICPA and holds a BS in Accounting from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville.
Joe Honey, Partner
Joe is a creative leader with a proven record of improving processes that add value. Joe currently owns an accounting firm where he provides tax and strategic advise to small business clients. His professional experience includes roles as Chief Financial Officer for Covista Communications, Inc., a publicly traded telecom service provider and Olan Mills, Inc., the portrait studio with more than 1,000 retail locations. Joe began his career in public accounting at Joseph Decosimo & CPA’s, and previously with G.R. Rush & Co.
Joe is a Certified Public Accountant and member of the AICPA. He also holds the ABV credential and is Accredited in Business Valuations. He earned his BS degree in Accounting from the University of Tennessee in Chattanooga.
Frank Pazera, Founding Partner
Frank has extensive public and private sector financial management experience. Previously, Frank held the positions of Chief Financial Officer for NeoMedia Technologies, Inc., a public mobile marketing enterprise and Chief Executive Office for Covista Communications, Inc. a public telecom service provider. In addition, Frank has held executive positions at companies that include Turner Broadcasting, MCI and Arthur Andersen & Co.
Frank is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive) and a member of the AICPA. He earned his MBA in Finance from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University in Atlanta and his BBA in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin in Milwaukee.
Tim Rogers, Partner
Tim is a change agent with an uncanny ability to bring order to chaos. He has exceptional cash management and financial turnarounds skills that enable and support increasing enterprise value. He is most recently Chief Financial Officer at Secant Healthcare which focuses on providing innovative migration solutions for healthcare imaging and information systems. Tim has also served in senior level finance roles at rx Solutions, Ortho Rehab and Option Care, among others, after starting his career with Arthur Andersen & Co.
Tim is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Illinois State University.
